Welcome at Monti Monaco, although... it's even more than that: At Monti you can try wine, study wine or talk about wine... You can try, share or enjoy the typical way italians enjoy food: With Antipasto, Primo, Secondo and Dolce... You can buy the wines and take the memories home with you, you can discover italian lifestyle and italian products to either buy for yourself or take away as a gift... You can stay all day, you can sit on the terrace, you can park your car right in front and you can watch the sun go down... So what more can you wish for when you're in Munich looking for Italy?
Great deli with restaurant! Excellent food, great service, nice ambience! Parking spaces in front of the restaurant!
Very good service, friendly, attentive, fine and cozy. The food was very good from starter to dessert. Highly recommended.
Sensational food! Super Service!
I haven't been there for a long time, but what I experienced this afternoon was disappointing. As one of the first guests, I had a wonderful place right in the middle. In a crazy way, the guests on my right and left left their seats after a short time and left. I could understand this very well, because welcome is different. A fly landed in my wine glass - fished out I got the glass back, I could have done that myself. The gesture of the bread roll reminded me of a hospital roll and that was the last time I was 25 years ago. My sea bream - ok was pretty lost on the plate in the demo of the lemon wedge, no leaflet demo, no carrot - just the fileted fish with some bones. I enjoyed the offer as an expensive midday spectral and will now finally delete the address.
Nice thing. Not cheap but what should you do with the money in the bank in these times. Thank you Olaf Scholz for devaluing our money.
Far above average, this small, fine Italian bistro in the Schlachthofviertel. Great wines, delicious seasonal antipasti, the pasta a dream. And a very attentive service.
You have to be patient here. Classic Italian eatery with extremely slow, not particularly warm service. The dishes are served boring / carelessly arranged and are too expensive for the quality. Chairs in the outside area are very uncomfortable, the bread consists of baked mini rolls that ran out during our visit and were only given with the main course. The only special thing is the special location in the slaughterhouse.
The owner is a passionate host. Lots of ideas that were put into practice, even during Corona times. Small menu with fresh dishes, traditionally prepared. Authentic Italian cooking is here. Another big plus is the parking lot right outside the front door. Small, fine delicatessen with fine wines to take away.
Extremely good restaurant, in my opinion one of the best Italians in Munich. It should also be emphasized that there are always special (in a positive sense) dishes that, like all the dishes on offer, are of the highest quality. By the way, both on site and to take away! The staff is very friendly, warm and accommodating and the prices more than fair. If you don't go, it's your own fault :)
Very good food, very nice service. Only 3 stars because we were the first customer for lunch, starter and fish dishes, we were out after 2 and a half hours! Too slow!!
Exceptional combination: bad food, unfriendly service, high prices
We were there with Taste Tours and the current owner is really passionate and the starters we had as well as the drinks were really good
Perfect, the food is just divine
Delicious food and wine, very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. I am already planning my next visit there.
The food is fantastic and the atmosphere great, but too expensive given the small portions you get, even for Munich. If the cost was more reasonable, I would go here regularly.
I cannot recommend this restaurant. Over 1.5 hours of waiting until the food came and there was nothing going on in the restaurant. The fish is totally overpriced. You are not informed or incorrectly informed. There was a maximum of 150 grams of fish on the plate and you have to pay 600 grams, the fish has never been seen before. When the bill comes, the blow hits you. In addition, the overpriced fish wasn't done, it was raw inside. Of course we complained about the inflated bill and the long waiting time. Our complaint was not dealt with. It is done on high arrogance. What is operated here is rip-off. For an upscale restaurant, the overall package should be right, which is definitely not the case here. The fact is: the food is overpriced. The dishes are from IKEA. The bread basket dissolves, the rattan wickerwork of the basket lies around on the table. The furniture in the winter garden has seen better days and actually belongs to the bulky waste. Holes in the winter garden are not properly plastered, the insulation is peeling off and is not properly attached. The music is way too loud, the choice of music is rather unsuitable for a restaurant, but that is a matter of taste. You won't find an Italian ambience here. Price-performance is definitely not right here. There is more appearance than reality here.
Very cozy, great atmosphere, very good food. Everything is freshly and lovingly prepared. Legendary service very sensitive. At Monti you can buy wine and delicacies. Booking in advance is an advantage.
Nice place. Good service. Highly recommended kitchen.
Service was good. Wines were good. Atmosphere very appealing. Unfortunately, the menu was not quite as hoped. It was not bad, but not really special. In view of the pricing overall, everything ok.
Delicious food and impeccable service.
great place !
Very, very tasty!
The Monti Monaco is one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Whether customer dinners, cozy evenings with friends or birthdays, every visit is a success. Bella Italia right around the corner! Sarah is a fantastic host and the service staff is always friendly and courteous. The kitchen cooks to a very high standard and the ingredients are of excellent quality. The range of dishes is very fine and the recommended wines always round off the overall package perfectly. Thanks to the changing menu, you will be surprised every time you visit with modern Italian specialties. On mild summer evenings you really feel like you are in Italy in the "Piazza" and can enjoy "La dolce vita" to the fullest. It is also worth taking a look at the vinotheque. You can always find a little Italian treasure here. From a small Baci Perugina or lemon soda to Italian delicacies from the fresh food counter to a fine selection of wines. I look forward to many more beautiful & delicious pampering visits with you, dear Sarah - keep it up!
High quality and very tasty food. In addition, excellent service despite the fact that all tables were occupied. Warm welcome for us as a bachelor party. Suitable for a quiet, relaxed meal, which you can enjoy in a great atmosphere with a well-recommended wine, especially in summer with the terrace.
A nice restaurant, specifically when we can enjoy the terrace. The food is Italian and well done. The food is Italian and well done. The dessert is not always perfect, we had this nougat mousse quite insipid. Only 4 stars; the price was a little too high.
Delicious food! Very welcoming service....
